Coming from a small block of Swan clone at the front of Donum's Carneros Estate, this is a dark, redolent Pinot Noir, having seen 16 months in 88% new French Oak. Smoky vanilla oak spices, ripe black cherries and a touch of spicy clove open the aromatics of the wine. The palate shows ample black fruits, muddled blackberries, jammy fig elements, and a touch of savoury spice carry the finish.
