Named after the three hills that surround the east, north and southern boundaries of the estate, the grapes for this Pinot Noir are picked from vineyards around those cooler, late-ripening sites. This was aged for 16 months in French oak barrels and is comprised of multiple clones: Calera, Pommard, Dijon and Swan. Three Hills is mouth-filling with chewy tannins but not grippy, with a melange of Christmas spices and arboreal garrigue notes alongside sweet, candied cherry notes. It's round and lush with a good lifespan ahead of itself.
