The folks at Donum Estate developed this single vineyard, three-block blend selecting fruit from each of the three hills for which the vineyard is named. This wine explicitly highlights the cooler blocks within the site—aromatics of kirsch, candied blood orange, violets and gravelly dust. The palate shows excellent complexity and a wonderful freshness. Red berries, sumac and early-season cherry, mark the wines' front palate. The wine has a tremendous depth; coffee beans and cocoa nibs linger on the finish for what seems like hours.
