A sumptuous bouquet of black fruit, earth, licorice, and graphite. Full-bodied, saturated black-fruit notes call to mind muddled blackberries and black cherries, crème de cassis, and all these rich, chocolaty tannins, infused with fresh mint and sage. Lengthy mineral-scented finish. From the Dos Lagos Vineyard on Atlas Peak, where vines are rooted in white volcanic ash at an elevation of 1,650 feet. Vines are cultivated by Hector Lopez, and the wine is made by Kent Jarman. The owners are Tom and Marcie Dinkel. Really quite decadent and in the absolute perfect drinking window as of early 2026. Enjoy through 2030.
