Highly perfumed expressive aromas of crushed strawberry, cherry, cola and just the faintest suggestion of citrus and mint. The palate is equally layered and appealing with the flavours following the nose and the acidity just high enough to support the fruit banquet. The texture is plush and pulpy, the tannins well enmeshed with the ripe red fruits. Absolutely no hint of heat coming from the high alcohol, its power is transferred to the flavour intensity and the long, smooth, viscous finish. Gorgeous!
