Pale onion skin pink that belies a meaty Mourvèdre nose. The fruit, however, comes rushing in on the palate – all pink grapefruit, peach, nectarine and lemongrass. There's lovely freshness but nothing half-hearted or trivial. The grape varieties have left quite an impression despite being parted from their skins early and the final blend is both savoury and appetising, as well as being thoroughly satisfying.
