Zesty fresh meadow flower nose. The palate is so pretty – absolutely packed full of different white fruit flavours, as well as white florals, acacia honey and camomile, but the intensity does not hit you at first. The initial impression is light, summery and feathery and then suddenly there’s a cornucopia of flavours as the wine really takes flight. Lemon, verbena, flint and pear emerge; at once savoury, ripe, fresh and immensely appealing, taking a while to fade. A truly delicious white wine in a gorgeously shaped tapered bottle.
