This wine is in the prime of its life, with 10 years of age, it's ready to go now, and delivers plenty of upfront pleasure. From a site up on Atlas Peak, near Antinori, produced by Russell Bevan. Beautifully perfumed, with blackberry fruit, currant leaf, tobacco, and dried spearmint. Medium to full-bodied offering black currant and black cherry fruit, and building tannins that soar with dark chocolate notes. Best enjoyed alongside well-salted cuts of steak or burgers.
