As of early spring 2025, the 2018 vintage still shows plenty of verve and ripe, juicy fruit. Tasted on a root day, it was surprisingly fruit-forward, with notes of dark cherry, cassis, and raspberry, balanced by savoury Earl Grey tea tannins. A divine streak of saline-acid tension carries through, with further nuances of black tea, bergamot, tobacco, cedarwood, and blood orange zest on the long, earthy finish. UNITY wines are sourced from small family growers who farm sustainably in Napa, Sonoma, and Mendocino counties.
