Farmers and cattle ranchers in Napa since 1916, the Gamble family also cares for 71ha of vineyards in the heart of the valley, including its own vineyards in Oakville. Tom Gamble built a winery in 2012. The Cabernet Franc has a meadowy greenness laced over dark berry fruit, notes of garrigue, as well as a spicy kick reminiscent of roasted poblano chilli peppers. All good sorts of green notes that lovers of European Cabernet Franc will appreciate. Very fresh and alive with fine tannins.
