Garnet-ruby hue. A nose redolent of autumn – pumpkin, cinnamon and bramble. The palate is hearty, vibrant and packed full of cranberry and raspberry, ultimately lifted by a surprisingly fresh level of acidity. White pepper spice accompanies the long finish which also incorporates, right at the very end, a more mineral element – almost a chalkiness – that gives real interest and likely a longer ageing potential to the wine. A beautiful Thanksgiving choice!
