An old vine selection from the Grgich Yountville estate. Alluring black olive aromatics, inky black fruit, and cedarwood. Full-bodied, with saturated blackberry, creme-de-cassis, and powerful and potent tannins that need time to soften. Winemaker Ivo Jeramaz aged 83% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Merlot, 5.5% Petit Verdot, and 0.5% Cabernet Franc for 20 months in 100% French oak.
