Sonoma County

Cork

This Grenache comes from Nuns Canyon Vineyard, Hamel Family Ranch, and Rattlesnake Ridge, was fermented in a mix of stainless steel and oak, and aged entirely in concrete. For all that, it is decidedly fruit-driven, showing off candied cherry fruit, sweet brown baking spices of cinnamon and brown sugar, and nice floral notes. But that's only sweet in perception, for the wine is bone dry on the palate, juicy, with good tension and cascades to a medium-bodied finish.
