Heitz Cellar is a new addition to the Berry's portfolio this autumn. Sourced from two vineyards in St Helena, this elegant Cabernet has lovely freshness and energy. Aromas of black and red berries and cherries are dusted with herbs and spice, ahead of a deft palate of lifted black fruit with chalky tannins. Judicious oak use – two years in a combination of new and used, small and large barrels – adds the structure for ageing; and this will certainly continue to develop in bottle.
