For the 2023 vintage, the blend comprises grapes from a host of single block sources, including fruit from Kitoko and Eagle's Nest Vineyard, most notably, and Upstream Vineyard in Coombsville. Aged for 24 months in 33% new French oak barrels. Muddled raspberry fruit mingles with a distinct candied jalapeño note, further nuanced by violets and green herbs. Fresh on the palate with a tannin and mineral-driven mind-palate, and lingering acidity underscoring a flavourful finish of grapefruit, blood orange, cherry, and currant fruit.
