The 2018 expression of this fruit is markedly more savoury, wide, and persistent than the Sta. Rita Hills bottling, which is sourced from the grafted section of John Sebastiano Vineyard. It has aromas of tobacco smoke, pan-seared bacon and blackberries while grilled meat, cloves and fresh lavender unwind on the long, tenacious finish.
