This is the final vintage of Las Posadas under this label, aged in 75% new French oak—a fitting swan song for this remarkable wine. Plush and full-bodied, it carries tremendous elegance, a testament to the farming and winemaking success of 2022. The polished palate is poised and expressive, with suave tannins forming long, seamless chains, supporting pure, juicy dark berry fruit and crushed stone minerality. The finish is everlasting, exuding freshness, power, and drive. Though compact and tightly wound now, it will unfold beautifully over the next 20 years with grace and evolution. The fruit comes from the David Abreu-managed Las Posadas Vineyard on Howell Mountain. The Cimenelli family collaborates with winemaker Nigel Kinsman (Wheeler Farms, Kinsman Eades, Accendo), viticulturist David Abreu, and consulting oenologist Michel Rolland.
