Aged 24 months in roughly 50% new French oak, The Prophet’s Water comes from a hillside site opposite the Third Circle block, near the highest point on the estate. Yet, when tasted side by side, the contrast couldn’t be more striking—where Third Circle is perfumed and elegant, The Prophet’s Water is powerful and muscular. Its chiselled tannins form a solid foundation for layers of black and blue fruit, woven into a rich tapestry of savoury black olive, unsmoked tobacco, and white pepper, with notes of charcuterie and ironstone adding further depth. Balanced tension on the finish brings harmony to this complex and commanding wine.
