This delicious Russian River Pinot is characterized by delicate red berry notes, a savory, earthy, black truffle quality and black tea tannins. The perfectly ripe fruit is balanced by good mineral tension on the medium-bodied, mouthwatering finish. A pop of warm baking spice adds intrigue. This was made with 50% whole cluster grapes, cold soaked for 5 days and fermented in open top stainless steel tanks, followed by 11 months of ageing in 20% new French oak. Pair this with Japanese cuisine and mushroom risotto.
