All from Clone 1, this Sauvignon Blanc is sourced from a combination of Jonquil Vineyard, a cool site on the Pope Valley side of Howell Mountain, and the UC Davis Experimental Block (located near the Monastery Block of To Kalon Vineyard). Barrel-fermented with 15–20% new oak and aged in those barrels for four months. This white has a great concentration in 2024, with fragrant citrus and white floral notes, and just a hint of lemongrass, and a touch of kiwi and gooseberry. So fragrant and so consistent, yet with great depth and energy in this vintage, it has a fabulous streak of saline acid tension helping to keep everything lifted and bright.
