Tasted in 2026, I absolutely love this rosé as it reminds me of an aged Tavel rosé from France. It has all these savoury notes laced around what was once youthful cherry and bramble berry fruit and now exudes blood orange, candied orange peel, tangerine oil, and crushed slivered and salted almonds, with a fabulously saline quality that makes it utterly enticing. It is one of the best aged rosé wines from Napa Valley I have ever tasted. It will drink very well for the next 3–5 years, maybe longer if you keep it tucked into a very cool, very dark cellar. Some barrel aging is what gave this rosé its long-lived fighting chance.
