A rich, powerful, bold red wine, still very youthful, slipping into savoury territory with black liquorice, tanned leather, cassis, and dark truffle-infused loamy earth. The tannins are fine, powdery, and nicely integrated, finishing with dried violets, perfumed rose petals, and building tannic grip marked by good acid tension. The freshness factor here means it will easily last another 10 years in the cellar. Tasted in early 2026.
