This is always a standout Viognier from Marin County’s Petaluma Gap AVA, and the 2023 vintage is no exception. Bright and zippy, it shows real vivacity with crystalline acid tension that gives the wine lift and drive. Aromas of beeswax, honeycomb, and white flowers rise from the glass, while honeysuckle and kumquat carry through on the medium-bodied palate. The fruit has a subtly slippery texture that glides over a crunchy acid base, creating contrast and intrigue. The finish is long and focused, with excellent tension—making this one of the most food-friendly Viogniers around. It’s a wine you’ll want to pair again and again with sushi or delicate seafood dishes.
