This blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc comes from Oakville Ranch. It was fermented in stainless steel and aged for 22 months in 75% new French oak. Beautifully perfumed, it offers wonderful rich cassis notes alongside a redwood forest character, loamy earth, and ultra-dark fruit that builds across the full-bodied palate. Immense, powerful tannins – known to take time to ripen in the vineyard – are perfectly ripe here, framing buoyant dark berry fruit underscored by lacy, fresh, and beautifully integrated acidity. Long, dense, and layered, the wine delivers vibrant, pure fruit character from start to finish.
