There’s a freshness classic to the mountain style of the Santa Cruz appellation. This wine balances the mountain freshness brilliantly while bringing through the dark, fruity character. Mountain fresh arboreal character, California bay laurel, wild anise and thyme. Purity of taut black fruits, cassis and early season blackberry, finishing with a graphite note and a saline freshness.
