The wine cascades into an expressive finish of rose petals and sandalwood. Gary’s Vineyard is one of the most renowned sites in California, farmed jointly by Gary Pisoni and Gary Franscioni. The site is exclusively planted to Pinot Noir. This 20.2-hectare vineyard lies on a sloping hillside in the centre of the 25.7-kilometre-long Santa Lucia Highlands AVA, on alluvial soils. It experiences heavy fog and is battered by strong, cold winds throughout the summer.
