A unique red from the Napa Valley, which bears the fanciful name of “Super Tuscan” on the label and is a blend of 82% Sangiovese and 18% Cabernet Sauvignon from a single source in the Oakville AVA, near Paraduxx and Gemstone. Elegant red berry fruits are intertwined with sweet oak spices, herbs, and a touch of vanilla. The ripe fruit is plush on the palate, supported by a firm backbone of acidity, and layered with velvet-textured fine-grained tannins. There’s ample power in this complex, well-endowed Super Tuscan Doppelgänger.
