A blend of clones, this is a savoury whole -cluster and centred around Pommard. This Pinot comes from Branciforte Creek Vineyard, a property planted in 1988, but that was a vineyard here in the historic Santa Cruz Mountains for more than 100 years before that. Amaro herbals, taut, juicy wild strawberries, white pepper, and dazzling savoury herbs. Cranberries and mint brighten the palate, crushed stone and forest floor all play a role in this beguiling wine.
