It is a lovely wine with 15 months on the lees, giving it plenty of depth and richness to the aromatics—notes of sweet strawberries and cream, shortcake, cherry blossoms, and a touch of marzipan. The palate is led by Pinot Noir character, with cut strawberries, a touch of tart cranberry and a bright note of spearmint. There's an almond cream undertone and a hint of toasted biscuit to finish.
