This wine shows a core mineral lift rising from the glass, layered with inky black fruit and rich, toasty oak baking-spice character. The palate is full-bodied, with velvety tannins carrying a distinctly chocolate-edged texture, building in intensity through a long, sweetly spiced finish. Godward is a site situated near Scarecrow and Morisoli Vineyard, firmly within a highly regarded neighbourhood. The wine was aged for 20 months in roughly 75% new oak.
