The Syrah is destemmed and fermented in headless puncheons through native fermentation, spending roughly 21 days on the skins, including a cold soak and gentle punch-downs. The wine is then aged for 18 months in a 500-litre puncheon (100% new oak). This Syrah expresses high-altitude brightness with potent and compact tannins. The dark fruit profile is striking, featuring currants and plums layered with rich spice character, sage, and bay laurel. Nuances of mulberry and a wonderful, compact elegance course throughout, with a hint of salted dark cocoa adding depth. The finish is long, vibrant, and marked by pressed flowers, adding complexity and grace. This beautifully crafted wine with energy, precision, and a firm structure offers power and elegance.
