<p>Founded in 1999, the Michael Mondavi Family Estate was created by one of California&#39;s great winemaking families, and focus is on small-production, artisanal wines from sustainably farmed vineyards. Sourced from vineyards on the northeastern hillsides of Napa Valley, the grapes for the Emblem Cabernet Sauvignon are hand harvested, and the wine is aged for 18 months in small French oak barrels prior to release. A wine from the fourth generation of the Mondavi family, the Emblem series is produced by siblings Rob Mondavi Jr. and Dina Mondavi.</p>
