Fresh acidities and singing black fruits here, this has a beautiful mixture of power and elegance from 5th generation French winemaker Luc Morlet. It’s intense in colour at 7 years old, with blueberry fruits to the fore. Intense and creamy - clearly one for long ageing but with enough seductive notes and floral aromatics that it can be drunk now after a good few hours in a carafe.

The fruit comes from three sites in Knights Valley, St Helena and Andy Beckstoffer's To Kalon. Unfiltered and natural yeasts, 100% new oak. 

An estate Morlet created with his American wife Jodie in 2006, but on the site of a former winery that didn't survive Prohibition.
