The 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from Broken Rock Ranch, a vineyard developed by Napa Valley icon Bill Hill. Nestled just off the Silverado Trail, the site benefits from a prime western-facing slope, bathed in the ripening warmth of the afternoon sun. The wine was aged for 22 months in 60% new French oak barrels. Lifted candied red berry fruit leads the aromatics, complemented by rose petal and pastille nuances. The floral elements carry through to the palate, which is immediately juicy and deeply flavourful, with notes of mocha, espresso, and red liquorice. Fine tannins and good acid tension frame the wine, adding balance and energy. A spicy and exotic red that showcases both vibrancy and depth.
