This Reserve Chardonnay comes from the 3.4ha east-facing Cayetana Vineyard in the gap. Fragrant apple and pear notes are laced with baking spices, and the medium-bodied palate offers succulent layers of quince, candied ginger, salted Meyer lemon peel, and lime zest with a fantastically long autolytic finish. Spicy acidity keeps everything lively and fresh. Native yeast fermented, partial malolactic conversion, aged 12 months in 50% new French oak.
