The Reserve Pinot takes everything up a notch from the estate bottling, showing even greater polish and a glossy sheen that speaks to Dave Phinney’s opulent, finely tuned style. It unfurls with dark cherry, candied cherry, and warm brown spices—clove, cinnamon, and a hint of candied rose petals—layered over toasted cedarwood. The palate is medium-bodied with velvety tannins and a deep thread of forest-floor salinity and stony minerality that carries through to the long, resonant finish. Our Lady of Guadalupe Vineyard (OLG) was acquired in 2015; after two years of composting, vines were planted in 2018, with additional phases following. Nearly half of the expansive estate is now under vine, planted across varying slopes and aspects.
