A 100% Mourvèdre from two different blocks in Glenrose Vineyard, each about 150 metres apart in elevation. The resulting wine delivers on power and concentration with definitive minerality throughout. Notes of clove, desert sage and kirsch brighten charred earth and violet aromatics. The palate is a melding of concentrated black plum, Christmas spice and wild lavender. There is ample ripeness balanced by minerality and gorgeous dark chocolate character.
