This effusively spiced Zinfandel comes from the 36-year-old Zinfandel vines in the Faloni Vineyard. Inoculated with a yeast strain from Priorat, it spends 16 months in American oak from the Appalachia region. Spicy notes of cola smoked cinnamon and jammy blackberries. The palate is luxurious, with sweet dark berries and tobacco; there is a kiss of pepper and a melange of warm spices to finish.
