Splitting the difference between herbaceous, musky and grassy, with its aromas of chervil, fresh bread, dried thyme and jasmine. The inclusion of 10% Semillon is immediately apparent on the palate, thanks to its resinous, coating texture. After time in the glass, a sturdy acidity comes forward, carrying the wine to a multi-layered but currently inward finish. Aged entirely in French barriques for eight months. Will need a year or so in the cellar to show its best.
