A linear-focused red blend offers red currants, earth, plum skin notes, and dried herbs. Medium-bodied with enticing sweet red currant and plum preserves, a dusty tannin backbone leads to a satisfying finish of graphite-laced red volcanic minerals and cedar spices. Situated above Sonoma Valley in the Moon Mountain AVA, organically farmed vineyards and olive groves surround wine caves. This blend is a selection from their Poggio alla Pietra estate vineyard. Founded by the late Lorenzo Petroni. The winemaker is New Zealand native Martin Mackenzie.
