Big on aroma, with a mix of both cassis and stemmy fruit, grapes and plums. Racy acidity brings lots of freshness here, and there's decent palate depth, with barely noticeable tannins. Nice! Spicy and crunchy. Not massively ageworthy, but very drinkable. Gamay fermented with 60% whole bunches, a portion of which was fermented in a vintage California redwood tank. Then aged for eight months in neutral French oak barrels.
