This unique site benefits from its cool microclimate, making it even cooler than the rest of the property. The wine is fermented and aged entirely in clay amphora, preserving its vibrant character. This Viognier is fantastically bright, vivid, and electrifying, with ripping acidity balanced by the rich varietal traits of honeysuckle, white peach, apricot, and white plum. Lean, focused, and racy, it avoids the flabby, oily texture sometimes associated with Viognier, offering a taut, elegant expression. While classic, opulent examples like Guigal’s La Doriane may charm with their weight, this Viognier’s sleek profile makes it versatile enough to pair with an entire meal. It is fresh, dynamic, and brilliantly crafted and stands out for its balance and energy.
