The organically-farmed Presqu'ile Vineyard Pinot Noir is aged 11 months in neutral oak, including some large foudres. This is a wonderfully bright, spicy, medium-bodied Pinot Noir with captivating aromatics and flavours. Notes of Chinese five spice and clove intertwine with crisp blood orange acidity, supporting generous layers of cherry, pomegranate, and spiced plum flavours alongside hints of pluots. It's such a harmonious wine, made all the more elegant by the beach sand soils the vines are growing in, surrounded by a host of garrigue. Presqu'ile Winery, established in 2008 by the Murphy family, is led by winemaker Dieter Cronje, who has been with the winery since its inception.
