Most of the fruit is sourced from the Raymond Ticen Estate (approximately 10 hectares), with the remainder coming from their 27-hectare estate in Rutherford, along with contributions from Oakville, Calistoga, and select sites within the Napa Valley AVA. The blend consists of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Petit Verdot, 3% Merlot, and 1% Cabernet Franc, aged 19–20 months in 31% new French oak. With a healthy portion of Petit Verdot, this wine carries impressive density and weight, offering a generous presence. Richly fruited, it showcases dark berry notes, blackcurrant, graphite, and a hint of blood orange. The tannins are superfine yet firm, complemented by elegant cola spice and a refined graphite-mineral character that lingers on the spicy finish. At 12,000 cases, this is a great value.
