Grapes are sourced from Blaire in Calistoga, Upper Range, Farella, Moon Racer estate, and Houyi. Ferments in stainless steel and aged 18 months in 75% new French oak. A polished wine in 2023. Complex aromatics of dark berry fruit, earth, and black truffle notes with a fresher minty undercurrent, cassis fruit, and even notes of blue skin influences, ultra creamy fruit on the plate, of mixed berries, supported by ultra fine tannins that are tightly knit together. Rich, succulent, and incredibly well put together, finishing with an earthy richness and wet slate and charcoal mineral finishes.
