Frost early in the year tested the vines, but the persistence of coastal fog and marine influence ensured fruit with vibrant acidity and measured ripeness. Harvest delivered Pinot Noir of precision and structure, well suited to méthode champenoise. In the glass, the wine shows lifted citrus and subtle orchard fruit layered over a savoury, mineral backbone. The palate is taut yet textured, finishing with length and a sense of ageworthy poise.
