Herb Lamb is a celebrated vineyard that sits in a relatively cool position on the lower slopes of Howell Mountain, within the Napa Valley AVA. Replanted following the 2020 fire, this bottling represents the first fruit from the replanted site. The wine delivers a compelling mix of blue-, black-, and red-fruited character, layered with the classic sagebrush notes long associated with this vineyard and lightly dusted with sweet paprika spice. Powerful, dense and firmly muscular tannins frame the palate, building steadily through a lengthy finish.
