A barrel selection of the finest lots from the 150-acre Twin Rivers Ranch, located on the El Dorado and Amador County border at roughly 1,700 feet elevation. This rolling hillside site is planted chiefly to Zinfandel. Aged for 15 months in American (10% new) and French oak, this is a super stylish, polished, and expressive Zinfandel. Brimming with blackberry and black cherry fruit, layered with brambly blue fruit notes. The silky, satiny mid-palate is framed by a rich, juicy vein of expressive acidity, bringing vibrancy and balance. The long finish lingers with crunchy apple pie spice and a refined structure.
