A Mt. Veeder Cabernet, aged for 20 months in mostly new French oak, with just 360 cases produced. Aromas of spiced plums, vanilla, blue fruit compote, and violets unfold in the glass, joined by espresso bean nuances. Medium-bodied and supple, the palate is juicy yet composed, with firm, fine-grained tannins supporting a core of ripe blue and black fruit and savoury dried herb notes. The finish is long, layered, and persistent.
