Aromas of blueberry yoghurt, bramble and black cherries. A medium-weight, plush mid palate opens up to a chalky, dried-herb finish. An enjoyable combination of carefree fun and thought-provoking seriousness. This sets out to combine both the heritage of early California grape plantings as well as the Rhône varietals more commonly found throughout El Dorado County. The 'Legacy Block' at Skinner is comprised of Mission, Petite Bouchet, Trousseau, Carignan and Zinfandel, which are all blended with Cinsault and Grenache among others.
